What is tasting?

The tasting of food and delicacies is called Tasting is called. Such a campaign usually takes place in or in front of local stores or during certain events.

The main aim of a tasting is to make people aware of certain delicacies and encourage them to buy them. It is not a campaign to satiate customers, but to make them curious to try more.

Many people are certainly familiar with small pieces of cheese or sausage that are occasionally handed out for tasting. The customer gets to know the taste through such a campaign and can now consider whether they would like to buy such food immediately or later.

Who organizes such tastings?

Sometimes tasters are simply placed on the cheese counter, at the bakery stand or at the sausage counter. These are, so to speak, served by the Personnel offered. However, there are also many campaigns that are carried out separately by promotional staff. The promotion team that carries out the marketing measure is intended to make the brand or a specific product better known. Among other things, there are many Part-time jobs and students in Munich and other major citieswho would like to earn a few extra euros and work as promoters.

Sometimes there are also surveys that people can take part in. They can rate a particular product and indicate whether they would like to see other products in the range or are satisfied with the taste, smell and so on.

What can be tasted?

In principle, a wide variety of foods can be tasted. Whether liquids or solids, everything is possible during a tasting. Among other things, there is always the tasting of:

  • Fruit juices
  • Crying
  • Tea varieties
  • Liqueurs
  • Cheeses
  • Sausage specialties

Depending on the campaign and destination, it is not uncommon for several foods to be offered for tasting together. Cheese and wine are among the foods and luxury foods that can be combined well.
