A pretty, well-groomed hostess welcomes the guests, registers them and hands them the necessary badges. She explains what the new IBM app is all about and takes care of all matters in a friendly manner so that the guests feel comfortable (which also means that the participants are in the rooms on time so that the conference times can be adhered to).
