BMW i3 driving in the city - no problem! Positioning ten BMW i3s, driving them as a motorcade through Berlin's city center rush hour traffic and creating photo motifs that are a Photographers smile with satisfaction - that requires a little effort.
The occasion was the 2016 FIA Formula E Championship race in Berlin on Saturday, May 21. The BMWi3 vehicles had previously driven through the city from May 18 to 19 - and proved that range is no longer a problem. According to the company, the BMW i3 (60 Ah) with pure electric drive BMW eDrive has an electric range of around 160 kilometers. The BMW i3 (94 Ah) even has a range of up to 200 kilometers.
Yannik Fritzsche, TRUST Promotion-Project manager of the BMW campaign summarized: "A great promotion that caused a stir and, of course, an interesting driving experience!"
