As an international trade fair organiser, Messe Köln does not specialise in any particular area. It organises over 80 events from various sectors every year. Messe Köln is also known for its numerous guest events and congresses.
The leading trade fairs include ISM, FIBO and imm cologne. These trade fairs are known worldwide and always attract many visitors. Gamers will be interested in Gamescom, a leading European trade fair for digital games.
The exhibition centre, with 284,000 m² of hall space and an outdoor area of 100,000 m², is the fifth largest exhibition and event site in the world. There are a total of 11 halls and 2 congress centres.

How to get to the Cologne Trade Fair Centre
Arrival via the motorway
You can reach the Cologne exhibition grounds from all directions via the motorway. There are as many as 10 motorways that flow into the Cologne motorway ring. From there it is a direct route to the exhibition centre. Please note that most of the city centre is located in the low emission zone. Entry is only permitted with a green sticker.
The traffic guidance system will take you quickly to the Cologne Trade Fair Centre. Simply follow the signs labelled "Kölnmesse".
Travelling by plane
The nearest airport, Cologne-Bonn, is around 15 kilometres away. The airport is well connected to the S-Bahn network, so travelling on to the trade fair is easy.

Take the S13 in the direction of Köln Ehrenfeld. The journey ends at the Köln / Messe Deutz stop. From here it is about a 15-minute walk to the exhibition centre.
by taxi to the exhibition centre
It is also possible to continue your journey by taxi. If the traffic situation allows, you can reach the Cologne Trade Fair Centre within 15 minutes.

Travelling by train
Cologne Central Station offers good travel options from all directions. Take the Deutsche Bahn train to the Kön Messe/Deutz ICE railway station. The station is not far from the exhibition centre.
with the Middle Rhine Railway
You can reach the trade fair centre on foot. This takes around 35 minutes. A more convenient option is to take the MRB26 in the direction of Deutz/Messe LANXESS Arena. From there you only have to walk 1 km to the trade fair centre.
Continue by taxi
You can also take a taxi from the station. The journey takes 10 minutes if the traffic situation is good.

Parking at the Cologne exhibition centre
Around 14,500 parking spaces are available in the exhibition area. Visitors will have no problem finding a parking space. There is a traffic guidance system that leads to the available car parks.
East car park
There are car parks P10 and P11 for cars for the East Entrance near Halls 10 and 11.
Costs: 10€ per day
Car park west
Car parks P1 - P7 are located at Halls 1 to 7, from where the West Entrance is easily accessible.

North car park
Car parks P8 and 9 are located at the north entrance. There are car parks P21 and 22 next to the Pfälzischer Ring for other visitors.
Costs: 10€ per day
You will also find the Zoobrücke multi-storey car park, which offers covered parking spaces.
South car park
There is also a good selection of car parks at the south entrance. Car parks P3 to 11 are available.
Costs: 10€ per day
You can get from the car parks to Messe Köln on foot or by taking the free shuttle bus. Many car parks are only open during event times.
