Messe Leipzig: Address, arrival, parking, hotels and tips
Messe Leipzig is one of the leading trade fair organisers in Germany. Leipziger Messe has been in existence for over 850 years and organises a wide range of events. In addition to around 30 trade and public fairs, many other events take place every year.
The well-known and leading trade fairs at the Leipzig Exhibition Centre include the Intec (leading metalworking trade fair), the Home-Garden-Leisure Trade Fair and the Leipzig Book Fair.
The gross covered exhibition area of Leipziger Messe is 111,900 m². There are a total of five exhibition halls, a glass hall as a highlight, 70,000 m² of outdoor exhibition space and the CCL congress centre.

How to get to the Leipzig Trade Fair Centre
Arrival via the motorway
Travelling by car is very convenient thanks to the good connections to the motorway network. You can reach your destination via the A14 motorway as well as the A9 and A38.
Thanks to the good signposting from the motorway to the Leipzig exhibition grounds, you can reach the event quickly.
The Leipzig Trade Fair Centre is not located in an environmental zone, so the green sticker is not absolutely necessary. However, if you want to drive into the city centre, you must pay attention to the low emission zone.
Travelling by plane
The trade fair city of Leipzig has an airport just 10 to 15 minutes away by car. Car hire companies are stationed at the airport. There are also good connections to the S-Bahn network at the airport.

The S-Bahn S5 runs every half hour from the airport to the exhibition centre.

It is also possible to continue your journey by taxi. Taxis are waiting for guests at Terminal B at the airport to take them to the exhibition centre.

Travelling by train
Leipzig has a modern and large ICE railway station, which is served from all directions. Travelling to the city is environmentally friendly.
Continue with the S-Bahn
You can get from the station to the exhibition centre by S-Bahn. There are lines S2, S5, S5X and S6, which take travellers to Leipzig Messe station. From the main station, the S-Bahn takes about 6 minutes to Leipzig Messe.
It should be noted that the exhibition railway station and the exhibition grounds are another 750 metres away. There is also an S-Bahn for this route. However, the Leipzig Trade Fair Centre is just a few minutes' walk from the station.
Parking at the Leipzig exhibition centre
There is no shortage of parking spaces for visitors and exhibitors. There are over 12,500 visitor parking spaces, 2,000 parking spaces for exhibitors and 200 lorry parking spaces. The city's car park guidance system will lead you to a free parking space. The car parks are open depending on the event.

Car parks P1 and P2 offer visitors the most parking spaces for their vehicles.

Visitors will also find a large number of parking spaces at the CCL. The CCL premium car parks are more expensive.

P+R car park at Leipzig Messe S-Bahn station
The P+R car park near the Leipzig Messe S-Bahn station offers around 1,200 parking spaces. From there, take the S-Bahn to the trade fair centre. The car parks are open at all times.
