Event concept

What is an event concept?

A Event concept can be compared to an optimal construction plan for an event. The concept is a kind of sketch and draft of how an event should run.

What does an event concept involve?

An event concept summarizes all the important data and information about a project. It is a comprehensive compilation in which the following things are presented for the implementation of an event:

  • Goals
  • Measures
  • Participants
  • Duration
  • Cost factor
  • General conditions
  • Find a location

The event concept is, so to speak, a collection of measures that are to be implemented in order to achieve the defined objectives.

What is the aim of the event concept?

It is always the aim of every event to become something very special. So that a positive memory value is created and the Event is in the minds of visitors for a long time, a sophisticated concept is unavoidable.

By creating a concept, the ideas are put into practice. It becomes clear which work step is necessary at which point in time. Chaos is thus avoided if it is already determined at the outset how things will proceed.

For whom is a concept advisable?

There is no obligation to create a concept. However, it makes sense to draw up a plan to ensure that the event runs smoothly and to your satisfaction. Depending on the size of the company, there may be an in-house event department with an event manager. However, event planning is often outsourced to an event, Promotion- and Recruitment agency who have the appropriate know-how and good Personnel available. In most cases, companies do not want to hire extra staff such as hostesses and promoters for an event. The recruitment agency solves this problem. Trade fair and event personnel are employed by such a personnel agency in a legally secure employment relationship and will be made available for the duration of the event.
