Messe Berlin: Address, arrival, parking, hotels and tips
Berlin is a centre for international trade fairs and events. Over 100 national, international and regional events take place every year. There is an extensive trade fair programme with different focal points. Some of Messe Berlin's focal points are consumer electronics, nutrition and logistics.
Messe Berlin is known for its five leading international trade fairs, which attract numerous visitors. The leading event is the International Green Week with around 400,000 visitors a year. Other highlights include the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA for short), the ILA (International Aerospace Exhibition) and the International Tourism Exchange.
Messe Berlin offers an area of 190,000 m² with 27 exhibition and event halls. Worth mentioning are the special locations on the exhibition grounds, so that the most diverse wishes can be realised.

How to get to Messe Berlin
Arrival via the city motorway
Messe Berlin is located directly on the motorway, so you can easily reach the exhibition grounds by car. Thanks to the signposting system in the direction of "Messegelände", you will quickly find your way to the exhibition grounds and the car parks.
Take the city motorway directly to the motorway junction "Dreieck Funkturm". Take the "Messedamm" exit. The car park guidance system will now direct you to the available parking spaces.
Travelling by plane
Berlin Tegel International Airport is well connected to the exhibition centre and is approximately 7 km away. You can reach Messe Berlin from the airport by various forms of public transport such as the underground and S-Bahn.
However, if you arrive at Berlin Schönefeld Airport, you can expect the journey to take around an hour and a half. The airport is 25 kilometres away. You can take the S-Bahn from Schönefeld Airport to the exhibition centre.
The last few metres from the Berlin Messe Nord stop can be reached on foot within 10 minutes.
Taxi to the exhibition centre
You could also take a taxi to the trade fair centre. Depending on the airport of arrival, you can expect the journey to take between 11 and 30 minutes if traffic is calm. If the city is full, it will take longer. From Berlin Tegel to the exhibition centre you will pay around €17. A taxi journey from Berlin-Schönefeld to Messe Berlin costs around €48.
Travelling by train
The environmentally friendly journey by train is possible without any problems. The main railway station is about 8 km away. There is even an event ticket from €54.90 for a single journey, which entitles you to travel by train from any DB station. However, the train ticket is not valid as an admission ticket for the trade fair.
continue with the S-Bahn or U-Bahn
The S-Bahn and U-Bahn network in Berlin is well developed and offers you a comfortable onward journey after arriving at the station.
It takes around 20 minutes if you take the S5 from the main railway station in the direction of Spandau. Get off at the Westkreuz stop. From there, walk 850 metres to the exhibition centre.
Parking at the Berlin Exhibition Centre
With 12,000 parking spaces around the exhibition grounds, Messe Berlin is well positioned. The car park guidance system will guide you conveniently to available parking spaces.
East entrance car park
There are 620 parking spaces for cars in the ICC multi-storey car park at the East Entrance. P8, P10 and P11 offer additional parking spaces. It is also possible to park in the ICC car park when no trade fair event is taking place.

North entrance car park
Most of the car parks (P1 to P7) are located at the North Entrance. Please note that P7 is a car park for buses. Car parks P1 to P6 are intended for cars.

Parking at the south entrance
The car parks P17 and P18 in Harbigstraße offer additional parking spaces for trade fair visitors.
