Munich Trade Fair Centre: Address, arrival, parking, hotels and tips
Messe München focuses on new technologies, consumer and capital goods. With around 40 trade fairs, Messe München is one of the leading international trade fair organisers. Messe München is also the venue for 14 leading international trade fairs.
The leading trade fair here is bauma, the world's leading trade fair for construction machinery, with more than 620,000 visitors. Other notable events include the ISPO sports fair, the f.re.e travel and leisure fair, the international crafts fair and automatica, the trade fair for automation and mechatronics.
With 18 halls and an exhibition area of more than 200,000 square metres, as well as the largest outdoor exhibition area of any trade fair venue in Germany, the trade fair offers sufficient space for even the largest trade fair events.

How to get to the Munich Trade Fair Centre
Travelling via the A94
Messe München and the ICM are located directly on the A94 motorway. Please take exit no. 5 München Riem or exit no. 6 Feldkirchen-West.
A traffic guidance system will then direct you to the nearest available car park
Travelling by plane
The central area with the S-Bahn station for lines S1 and S8 is located under Munich Airport. Trains to Munich city centre run every 10 minutes. Depending on the route, the journey to the trade fair centre takes 45 - 60 minutes.
Taxi to the exhibition centre
Depending on traffic conditions, the taxi journey to the exhibition centre takes approx. 35 minutes and is offered at a fixed price of €59.00.
with the exhibition bus
Some trade fairs offer a shuttle bus service from Munich Airport. The buses run every 30 minutes with a journey time of approx. 45 minutes. A single journey costs €8.00.
Travelling by train
Munich Central Station is located directly in the city centre and is approx. 11 km from the trade fair.
Continue with the underground
The journey to the trade fair centre takes approx. 18 minutes on the Munich underground line U2 towards Messestadt Ost or Messestadt West.
During peak times on weekdays, the U2 runs from the main station from 7:30 - 10:10 and from Messestadt West from 15:10 - 18:55 every 5 minutes.
Parking at the Munich exhibition centre
The exhibition centre has sufficient parking spaces for cars and coaches. For large events, a traffic guidance system will direct you to the available car parks.
Parking at the exhibition centre is possible 2 hours before and 2 hours after the trade fair.
Car Park West - West Entrance
From the multi-storey car park you have direct access to the ICM (International Congress Center Munich) and the exhibition grounds.
Please note that the multi-storey car park is only open during the event.

Open-air car park - North entrance
The spacious outdoor area offers around 140,000 parking spaces.
Costs: 8€ per day
Park & Ride car park - East entrance
The Park & Ride can be used by trade fair visitors, although it is not part of the exhibition centre.
