Every year, the Swedes celebrate Midsommar, a traditional holiday that is only surpassed by Christmas.
As in previous years, this year's TRUST Promotion with motivated promoters for an exuberant atmosphere in the 4 Berlin stores.
The day's activities were numerous and gave an insight into the customs and traditions straight from the heart of Sweden. The stores became places of celebration and joy.
The traditions and main attractions of the day:
Of course, you can't celebrate Midsommar without the traditional flower wreaths. Women and children usually decorate their heads with them. We were able to show the customers how to tie them properly. With a little skill and patience, impressive works of art were created.
Another popular attraction was the traditional Dalarna cow milking. A friendly competition between customers in which as much colored water as possible had to be milked in half a minute.
Customers and promoters laughed, cheered and regretted that the day came to an end so quickly. The insight into Swedish traditions has awakened the desire to be there again next year with new customs and activities.
Our tasks at the Midsommar Festival:
- As in the previous year, TRUST Promotion was responsible for the main event and supported all four Ikea stores in the planning, organization and with Personnel. Other areas of responsibility for us were:
