The MachBar - EVERYTHING MAKABLE. With OBI.

OBI has come up with something special with the "MachBar", the creative workshop on tour. The mobile workshop has been travelling around Germany and Austria since May 2019, surprising visitors with cool DIY projects. But what exactly is the "MachBar"? How does it work and who can take part? Are there opportunities to work as a promoter and combine your hobby with work? We answer these questions here.

What is the OBI "MachBar"?

The aim of the "MachBar" is to realise your own do-it-yourself project in a short space of time. During the Roadshow you can choose between four small objects for your DIY project, which you can assemble and customise using Bosch tools.

The DIY workshops will be framed by creative games and musical highlights. The roadshow will be a real party. The motto - EVERYTHING MAKABLE. With OBI. - takes centre stage during the roadshow.

Who can let off steam creatively?

In principle, anyone who wants to let off steam creatively can take part. Whether DIY enthusiasts, craftsmen, school classes or simply anyone interested - everyone has the opportunity to take part in the DIY workshop. The following points are of interest:

• No prior registration necessary
• small participation fee to be paid
• Child-friendly objects for school classes

School classes mainly take part in the DIY workshops from Monday to Friday. The MachBar has come up with special objects so that the kids can also have fun making things.

Not just working - also celebrating and enjoying

Although these are DIY projects, it's not just the OBI MachBar days that are busy. Party-loving people also get their money's worth. On Thursdays there are after-work evenings with a DJ. Closing concerts are also on the programme. During the OBI Roadshow at his own expense.

What does TRUST Promotion do during the "MachBar" roadshow?

The TRUST team Promotion supports the large OBI project with 5-6 promoters per day. From Monday to Sunday our Personnel active between 12:00 and 22:00. That means over 600 man-days for TRUST Promotion.

TRUST's promoters have the honourable task of ensuring that everything runs smoothly. They support the visitors in selecting the items, the necessary materials and the appropriate tools. The TRUST team never gets bored. Maybe the project is something great for you.
