Messe Dresden focuses on the fields of art, culture, technology and science. Around 58 trade fairs are held annually in the city in the border triangle of Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland.

Popular trade fairs in the trade fair city of Dresden include the e-bike days with around 22,000 visitors and the travel fair for vacations, camping, travel and caravanning with around 33,000 interested visitors. The leading trade fair is BABYWELT, which attracts over 106,000 visitors every year.

The Dresden exhibition grounds have 23,000 m² of covered hall space with four halls and the BÖRSE Dresden conference center. The outdoor area of 13,500 m² is remarkable and is often used for open-air concerts and other events.

How to get to Messe Dresden

Arrival via the A4, A13, A17

Dresden has good highway connections. It is easy to get here via the A4, A13 and A17. Take either the Dresden Altstadt highway exit or the Dresden Neustadt exit.

From both exits you can reach the Dresden exhibition grounds, which are located outside the environmental zone.

Arrival by plane

Dresden has an airport that is about 12 km from the trade fair area and is well connected to the S-Bahn. You can expect a time window of around 37 minutes until you arrive at your destination.

If you would like to take the S-Bahn from the airport to the trade fair, take the S2 in the direction of Pirna. The journey continues to the station Bahnhof Mitte. From Bahnhof Mitte, take the STR10 to the Messe stop.

You could also take a cab from the airport to Messe Dresden. The cab ride takes around 20 minutes.

Arrival by train

Dresden Central Station with its central location is only 5 km away from the exhibition grounds. Whether you are coming from Frankfurt, Hamburg or any other direction, you can travel from any direction using climate-friendly transportation.

From the train station, the onward journey to Messe Dresden by streetcar is uncomplicated. The STR10 will take you to the exhibition grounds within 13 minutes.

Alternatively, you can also take a cab for around €10. Depending on the traffic situation, the cab ride takes around 7 minutes.

Parking at the Dresden exhibition grounds

Around 2,500 parking spaces are available, which experience has shown to be sufficient. Visitors have no problem finding a space.

Parking area P7 alone offers around 1,200 parking spaces for visitors.

Costs: ~ 5€ per day

There are also disabled parking spaces directly in front of the entrance to Hall 1.

Parking spaces P1 in the west of Messe Dresden

Together with the parking spaces in parking lot P7, there are around 2,000 parking spaces available. There would therefore be around 800 spaces in P1.
