At the beginning of August, it was time again: For the third time, our promoter Alexander was active as Oskar the Lion for Stadtwerke Fürstenfeldbruck: At the Amper Oase swimming pool, he hugged and cuddled children, spread good cheer and pointed out the great water course in the pool.
Incidentally, the mascot's patron saint, the lion Oskar, is Oskar von Miller. This is because the operator of the swimming pool, Stadtwerke Fürstenfeldbruck, wants to commemorate Oskar von Miller, who connected Bavaria's first municipal power station to the grid here in Fürstenfeldbruck. But that's just in passing 🙂
We are delighted that everyone had so much fun with Oskar and would like to thank our brave promoter Alexander, who sweated profusely in the warm lion costume while the kids jumped enthusiastically into the water: Thank you Alexander!
